NCHU Fall 2009 Keeper Training

NCHU Soccer is once again pleased to offer “The Keeper Training Series”. Training will be provided by Skills Unlimited Soccer Academy (S.U.S.A) a local, professional training organization.

This season each session will be divided into two groups based upon ability; Keepers will be divided into beginner / intermediate and advanced classes with a dedicated professional instructor for each group.

Keeper training allows players to get the specialized training they need in an educational and competitive environment. In addition to reviewing the basic techniques, goalkeepers will continue to learn new ideas and techniques regarding all aspects of the position. Develop the necessary skills and tactical understanding of the goalkeeper position through dynamic exercises, including when and how to catch, dive, receive crosses, come off your line, goal kicks, punting and distribute the ball to teammates.

Deadline to register is September 6th, 2009. After that, there will be a wait list.

Equipment Needed: Each keeper must bring their own water, cleats, shin guards, gloves and ball. Dress accordingly for the current weather conditions.
