Cantera Summer Soccer Skills Clinics

Custom skills training (boys and girls U9-U18)

Cantera Futbol USA will be hosting summer clinics at Northport Soccer Park for youth players (Boys and girls U9-U18). The clinics are designed to focus on key soccer skills.

Finishing: This clinic is focused on developing your shooting, finishing, and ball striking techniques. There will be a series of shooting and finishing exercises, designed to replicate game-like situations (e.g. long distance shooting, volleys, one touch finishing, heading on goal, etc.).

Goalkeeping: This clinic will focus on the individual skills needed to advance each goalkeeper in the technical and tactical aspects of the game. Techniques ranging from shot stopping, crosses, distribution, and positional play.

Speed and Agility: This clinic is for players interested in improving their on-field performance through increased athleticism. Speed and Agility programming will focus on proper form and technique, quick footwork, power and acceleration.

Participants: Boys and girls U8 to U18


Clinic 1 - Finishing: July 13, 20, 27 and August 3, 10

Clinic 3 - Speed and Agility: July 15, 22, 29 and August 5, 12

  • 6-7pm U13-U18

Day of Instructions:

-All participants are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of session to confirm their registration and attendance with one of our trainers.

-All participants must have a ball, wear shin guards, cleats, and bring water.

-In the event of inclement weather, postponements will be announced through the NCHU Website.

NCHU and Cantera prioritize the safety and wellbeing of all players, trainers and coaches and will adhere to state, local and CDC guidelines for youth sports.
