As EJ grew as a coach she began educating at the roots of player development. She has been the director of training and development for the Northport/Cow Harbor club for the past six years. She has run the Northport/Cow Harbor Youth soccer camp for the past six years and started the developmental U-9 program four years ago. EJ has successfully utilized the proceeds of the summer camp to run a developmental training program for Northport players ages 9 to 11This is truly an example of giving back to the game and giving back to the kids.

During her coaching career EJ has been recognized many times as a standout in the world of coaching. Her teams have won numerous LIJSL sportsmanship awards. In 2000 she was recognized by the women’s sports foundation as their youth coach of the year. In 2003 she was recognized as US Youth Soccer’s Region I girls coach of the year.
